The pink drink!
Cosmopolitan is a cocktail created during the 80s and was one of the cocktails that sparked the flavored vodka revolution.
Carrie Bradshaw of The Sex and the City created a surge in popularity around the drink when she left the martini cocktails.
Ingredients:
- 0.5 oz – Fresh lime juice
- 1 oz – Cranberry juice
- 0.5 oz – Cointreau
- 1.5 oz – Vodka Citron
Preparation:
- Preparation: Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and double strain into large cocktail glass. Garnish with lime wheel.
- Served: Straight up; without ice
- Standard garnish: Lime wedge, Lemon slice
- Drinkware: Cocktail glass
